today was folklife, which was blissful. There's not much that makes me feel more relaxed and at home than being in the middle of my crazy city, feet in the grass, drums pounding through my head, sun on my back, surrounded by thousands of people who are all so interesting and alive. Highlights included: strawberry shortcake, quidditch world cup, dancing elderly couple, FREE HUGS.
have you ever noticed how beautiful people are when they laugh or grin? it's astounding.
when i grow up i want to be something that has never been before.
