all this is very new
all the lying awake at night
all the butterflies and
reasonless grinning
all the wanting not to get hurt and
all the wishing this would last
. (i'm not used to falling before I know it)
. (probably beyond confusion, beyond return)
all this falling
faster and faster
more speed every minute
and my heartbeat accelerates
along with it
faster and faster
. (honesty first please even so)
just know i'm falling a little too fast;
i hope someone's waiting to
catch me
