gentleness is the genuine painful
no gentlekindness speaks the full truth
does she remember taking my hand
to lead me to the next exhibit?
it's the acute (pain) of the moment
our fingers touched
leaning off a cloud (she's god,
i'm just adam)
that pain of creation
which renders my gentle memory
genuine, even if i realize
i made it all up
